Videlock Lab- Dr. Elizabeth Videlock, MD
Measured differences in the protein markers of mitochondria and mitophagy, including Tom20 and Lamp2, in mouse models with Parkinson’s disease, Organized mice brain sections and stained them to examine protein presence, Utilized microscopy and imaging software to measure small intestinal crypt lengths, areas, and staining intensities, Conducted image acquisition and analysis to assess differences in morphology between mice with overexpression of a protein associated with Parkinson’s disease.
I am currently working on a project that will provide training in PCR, ELISA, and staining for markers of mitochondria and mitophagy.
